Introduction of Phosphate High Alumina Bricks

Phosphate-bonded high alumina bricks have high mechanical strength, high refractoriness under load temperature, and good thermal shock resistance. When a small amount of ZrO₂ is added to high alumina bricks, the thermal shock resistance of high alumina bricks can be improved, and the number of micro-cracks can be reduced.

Phosphate-bonded high alumina brick, phosphate-bonded high alumina wear-resistant brick, stripping-resistant high alumina brick, and chemical-bonded high alumina brick are widely used in cement kilns.

Classifications of Phosphate High Alumina Bricks

1. Phosphate brick (type code: P), short for phosphate bonded high alumina brick, is applicable for the firing zone of cement rotary kiln, transition zone, cooling zone, and high-temperature zone of cement vertical kiln.

2. Abrasion-resistant brick (type code: PA), short for phosphate-bonded abrasion-resistant high alumina brick is applicable for cement rotary coolers, cooling zones, and high-temperature zones of cement vertical kiln.

Kiln lining bricks should be categorized as special-shaped products in one of the following circumstances

1. The weight exceeds 12kg or less than 4.5kg.

2. More than four measurements.

3. The outline dimension ratio is greater than 1:5.

4. Have concave grooves or holes (except marks).
