This means anti-corrosive and acid-resistant material, which uses quartz, feldspar, and clay as main raw materials and is fired at high temperatures. Acid-resistant high alumina bricks have low lime and iron content and are vitrified at high temperatures in ceramic kilns.

Acid-resistant high alumina bricks have many good properties such as high acid resistance, high thermal insulation, high density, low water absorption, good corrosion resistance, not easily oxidized at room temperature, and not easily polluted.

Acid-resistant high alumina bricks can resist most acids like warm chlorine saline, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid except hydrofluoric acid and hot Phosphoric acid. Also, it can resist alkalis with different densities at room temperature.

Acid-resistant high alumina bricks' main component is SiO2. When SiO2 is burned at high temperatures, there are lots of poly aluminum andalusite which can resist acids strongly. Acid-resistant high alumina bricks also can resist alkali at room temperature because of high density, and low water absorption. However, it does not resist alkali at high temperatures.
